As part of the Soviet Union's post-war reconstruction plan, Dr. Sechenov created a wireless networked artificial intelligence named "Kollektiv 1.0," which linked his robots for greater efficiency.

However, like all games, it has its own set of bugs and errors, which can range from minor annoyances to serious issues that prevent players from progressing. In this article, we will discuss one such bug that players encounter when trying to complete a mission.

Early on in the game, players are tasked with powering up an elevator in a quest called "Not so Fast, Major." Although it is not a difficult task, some players are having trouble using the elevator even after powering it up. This bug has been reported by several players on the game's official discussion forums on Steam. The story revolves around Major Sergey Nechayev, a veteran of World War II with memory problems. He is codenamed Agent P-3 and is invited to Facility 3826 to assist in the rollout of Kollektiv 2.0. But upon arrival, he finds that the robots in the facility have become hostile and killed most of the human personnel. He is tasked with finding and apprehending Viktor Petrov, the lead engineer of Kollektiv 2.0 who has sabotaged the Kollektiv 1.0 node that manages Facility 3826. Meanwhile, the Politburo is suspicious about what is happening at the facility, and one of its members, Molotov, personally inspects the site and threatens to shut down Dr. Sechenov's "Atomic Heart" project.

P-3 tracks down Petrov in one of the labs and finds out that he is working with neurosurgeon Dr. Larisa Filatova. Petrov flees and is killed by a robot, with P-3 only finding his headless corpse. Molotov and his entire delegation are later killed, and Sechenov informs P-3 that the robots killed them. Sechenov then detects somebody trying to transmit a signal to America, leading him to believe Petrov is still alive because Filatova helped revive him. He orders P-3 to continue his pursuit of Petrov.

As P-3 pursues Petrov, he reveals that Sechenov plans to kill millions of people and enslave the world with the activation of Kollektiv. Viktor gives P-3 a pair of rings and commits suicide, and Sechenov has P-3 collect Petrov's head. P-3 then takes Petrov's head to a lab where Sechenov's assistant Stockhausen has a machine that can extract Petrov's memories, but Filatova destroys the machine with a grenade, killing Stockhausen in the process.

When P-3 wakes up, he is contacted by Filatova who shows him the human test subjects for Kollektiv, revealing that Kollektiv is actually a means to rob people of their free will and mind control them. P-3 decides to work with Filatova to find out the truth from Sechenov and throws the rings into the ocean. Delving deeper into the lab, P-3 discovers that Charles, his AI partner, is actually the mind of Chariton Zakharov, Sechenov's friend and fellow Polymer researcher who was presumably murdered by Sechenov. Using Zakharov's security clearance, they head into the lab's archives to find out more about P-3's past. There, P-3 learns that in order to fix a serious brain injury, Sechenov installed a Polymer implant in his brain that also served to erase his memories of his deceased wife Ekaterina. Sechenov used Ekaterina's separated brain to create his robot bodyguards, Left and Right, and also to mind control P-3 when needed.

P-3 can either choose to give up and leave Facility 3826, allowing Sechenov to continue with his plans to activate Kollektiv 2.0 and the Soviet Union to take over the world or fight Sechenov, destroying his two bodyguards Left and Right and mortally wounding Sechenov. Sechenov warns him that he will never be free from his control, and P-3 can either kill him or spare him. If P-3 refuses to fight, he destroys Charles and slips out of Facility 3826 and disappears, allowing Sechenov to continue with his plans to activate Kollektiv 2.0. Charles is
