Persia:

Persia is the official name but it was changed to Iran in the year 1935. This is called on the Persian language. After that people started calling the country Iran. this Iran is one of the World’s Oldest Civilizations which starts with Elamities in the Fourth Millennium BC.

Democratic Kampuchea:

The country Democratic Kampuchea’s name was changed to Cambodia. The name Cambodia was changed many times due to the changes made by different leaders and political. In the beginning, it was called Cambodia, then it changed to the Mer Republic. From 1975 to 1979 the time when the country was under Communist rule it was called Democratic Kampuchea, and then after the United Nations called it the state of Cambodia. 

Holland:

In 2020, Holland became the Netherlands. Previously the countries that had the 2 regions North and South Became the Netherlands. This change has also looked as a move to promote tourism. 

Siam:

The country Siam was changed in 1939 to Thailand after when it became a constitutional monarchy. The Siam was never colonized, and this was ruled by King Siam and it was also known by the name. 

Turkey:

The country’s name Turkey was changed to Turkiye. This was announced by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The name Turkiye represents and expresses the Culture, Civilization, and values of the NationTurkish in the best way. 

Burma:

The country's name Burma was changed to Myanmar in the year 1989. This was done by the Junta Military. Changing the name was acknowledged by the United Nations.

The Republic of Macedonia:

In the year 2019, The country's name The Republic of Macedonia was changed to the Republic of North Macedonia. This was changed in an attempt to have a partnership With NATO. 

Swaziland:

The country Swaziland was changed to Eswatini in its local language. This was changed in 2018 by the king of Swaziland in Africa. Eswatini is a landlocked country in Southern Africa. This country is classified as a lower middle-income economy. 

Ceylon:

Ceylon was changed to Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka was separated by its colonial Legacy. After the independence, the name Srilanka was changed by the island government. 

Irish Free State:

The country's name Irish Free State was changed to Ireland in year 1937. The name Irish Free State also known by its Irish name which is Saorstat Elireann. 

Czech Republic:

At the time when the Soviet Socialist Republic started to fall separate, Czechoslovakia started to split into 2 separate countries. One of the countries among the two is the Czech Republic. The name Czech Republic was changed to Czechia. It is a landlocked country in Central Europe. This is bordered by Austria to the south. 

Rhodesia:

The country’s colonial name Rhodesia was changed to Zimbabwe. This was changed when the it got independence to the republic of Zimbabwe. From 1965 to 1979 Rhodesia was an unrecognised state in Southern Africa.
