Within the Social screen, your Friend List displays friends currently playing Foamstars at the top. Foamstars' crossplay feature allows seamless connections between PS5 and PS4 players. Choose a friend from the list, then use the Invite to Group option. Once accepted, they'll join your Current Group list on the left. You can invite up to three friends, and if needed, remove them later by selecting the appropriate action or Disband Group to disperse the party.

In the Versus menu, choose a game mode you've unlocked, such as Smash the Star (a typical four-versus-four team-deathmatch mode). After selecting a mode, matchmaking will begin. Alternatively, you can opt for Private Party if you want to set up a custom match or join an existing private room.
