Dr. Jan-Harm Pol was born on the 4th of September in 1942 in Watern, Drenthe in the Netherlands. Dr. Pol grew up on his family’s dairy farm. He met his wife Diane Dalrymple when she was a foreign exchange student at Mayville High School in 1961. He graduated with a degree in veterinary medicine at Utrecht University. The couple moved to Harbor Beach in Michigan where Dr. Pol worked for 10 years.
