Star Trek Picard season 3 ending explained
The series' final two episodes play out like a movie, returning the crew of the Enterprise-D home to the bridge where they spent their lives learning to trust each other and defend the galaxy. Picard's fatal run-together with the Borg has transformed his kid into a sort of human-borg hybrid. In the Picard finale, Jack Crusher (Ed Speleers) finally discovers the riddle that has plagued him his entire life.
Every member of this newfound family is in top form as they set out to rescue Jack and preserve Earth and Starfleet from one of the most dangerous threats they've ever encountered. Picard is forced to confront his deepest anxieties in order to save the individuals who matter the most to him—Beverly and the others.
Picard is forced to confront his darkest fears in order to save those who imply the most to him—Beverly, Riker, and Worf are action heroes; Geordi assumes command; Data can rely on his instincts; and Deanna flies the D into the heart of the Borg cube to bring them all home. In other news, Seven and Raffi are Starfleet's last line of defence.
And, at the end of the day, we're left with a great sense of hope. A year later, Jack has fully embraced his father's chosen family and is now an ensign assigned to one of Starfleet's most illustrious ships, the Titan, renamed Enterprise-G. The notion that the game never ends, that there will always be fresh adventures for these heroes even if we never see them again, is woven into the merriment of these final moments.

Picard Season 3 finale
The series finished with Seven of Nine (Ryan) being named captain of the renamed USS Enterprise-G, with Raffi (Hurd) as her first officer and Jack as a special councillor to the captain. Before the credits rolled, the TNG team convened for one last drink—and a game of poker, which TNG aficionados will recall is how the series ended in May 1994.
In a mid-credits sequence, Q (John de Lancie) returns to remind Jack that Jean-Luc's trial for humanity was indeed ended, but his was just beginning, fueling fan suspicion that a new Star Trek series is in the works. This season, and particularly the finale, was satisfying for many Star Trek fans because it was a proper sendoff for the TNG crew 20 years after the film Star Trek: Nemesis bombed at the box office, resulting in an unceremonious end to the TNG franchise.
Picard season 3 episode 10
Picard and the Enterprise crew discover a Borg cube hidden in Jupiter's clouds. Seven frees the Titan from its assimilated crew and engages the fleet. Worf and Riker infiltrate the cube, while Picard uses the hive mind to free Jack from the Queen's control. Kathryn Janeway's virus onslaught weakened the Borg, according to the Queen.
The weakened fleet destroys Earth's planetary shields and attacks major cities. The Enterprise locates and destroys the signal that controls the assimilated crew members. Picard is successful in rescuing Jack from the Queen. To avoid the exploding cube, the Enterprise beams up Worf, Riker, Picard, and Jack. The assimilated Starfleet troops return to normal once the Borg are defeated once and for all.
The Enterprise has been delivered to the Fleet Museum. Crusher develops procedures to remove Borg DNA and transporter alterations, exposing the Changeling infiltrators. After being pardoned for their deeds, the crew reminisces over drinks and a game of poker in 2402. Tuvok promotes Seven to captain of the Titan, renamed the USS Enterprise-G, with Raffi as First Officer and Jack, now a Starfleet ensign, as Counsellor, based on Shaw's posthumous nomination. Jack receives a visit from the younger Q, who informs him that his trial has only just begun.
