The Day Before is a recent multiplayer horror video game developed by Fntastic. This open-world survival was published by Mytona. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic version of the United States in a world that has been overrun by zombies after a pandemic. The game was first disclosed in 2021 with a trailer containing the basic mechanics of the game. The Day Before was supposed to be released in June 2022 but was delayed to March 1, 2023, because of a switch from Unreal Engine 4 to Unreal Engine 5.

It isn't the first time The Day Before has been delayed, as Fntastic originally missed the June 2022 window to transfer development to Unreal Engine 5. Fntastic was stressed to announce The Day Before's delay on January 25, 2023, after a trademark issue. Fntastic says it was only aware of claims against the studio's use of the trademarked name and is now working to "solve everything," mentioning this as the main cause for the delay of this game.
When does The Day Before come out?
As announced on Twitter, the survival game The Day Before will be released on November 10, 2023. The game was earlier set to release on March 1, 2023, but because of "copyright issues," it will have to be postponed until November 10, 2023. In the game, communication with other players is essential, as is coping with being killed. It seems there is no HUD other than the flash of a bullet count, and there are no quest markers that indicate our characters have an objective.
The Day Before Gameplay
The Day Before is set in a zombie apocalypse and has a significant premise. Very recently IGN posted ten minutes of gameplay on YouTube, in which you could see two characters walking, fighting, and shooting zombies. These are the particular things in video games, and it seems to be an open world in an empty game. The game seems to have less ‘raw gameplay’ and more alpha footage. Crafting and customization of the weapons are basic. It’s not known if the second character in the game was an NPC or another player. It seems to be a game in a screenshot, but it only vaguely resembles the idea of a video game. There are zombies in a city, but that’s where any similarities to those games end. The damage numbers are not floating off of the zombies when they get shot, and there are no skill bars, XP gains, or abilities.

This open-world game requires the players to interact and communicate with each other, so they exhibit behaviors usually related to older-rated games. 15-year-olds and older might have less knowledge to play this game. You could shoot weapons and take cover behind objects, and you could also sidle through the buildings.
