Tomb Raider III: Adventures of Lara Croft
Tomb Raider III: Adventures of Lara Croft is a video game where you play as Lara Croft, an adventurer, and archaeologist. In the game, Lara sets out on a journey to find four pieces of a meteorite spread across different parts of the world. To find these pieces, you need to solve puzzles, explore dangerous places, and defeat enemies.
The game was made using an improved version of the engine from the previous Tomb Raider games. This means it looks better and runs smoother. It introduced new features like colored lighting and more detailed graphics.
Tomb Raider III went on to sell millions of copies worldwide and was liked by many players. However, some critics felt it didn't bring enough new ideas compared to the earlier games. Some also found it quite tough to play.
In 2000, an add-on called Tomb Raider III: The Lost Artefact was released, adding six new levels to the game. And now, in 2024, both the main game and its add-on are being remastered for a new collection called Tomb Raider I–III Remastered.
