Truberbrook Walkthrough wiki

Trüberbrook is a mystery adventure game created by btf, set in a remote village in Germany during the late 1960s. As the young American physicist Hans Tannhauser, players embark on a journey to work on their PhD thesis, only to find themselves immersed in a sci-fi mystery. The game draws inspiration from classic point-and-click adventure games, but features a more modern and casual approach to game design, with intentionally easier puzzles to create a more relaxed and gentle pace. Players can enjoy an immersive world, with the option to thoroughly inspect details or rush through to drive the story forward, with an average playtime of 6 to 8 hours depending on playstyle.

Truberbrook Walkthrough

Locating the cable car key:

To locate the cable car key, first go to the guesthouse and talk to Trude. Ask her about the cable car, and then ask her about the establishment, exhausting all the dialogue options. She will then serve you a beer, and as you drink, a coaster will drop to the floor. Pick it up, along with a second coaster on the table near the bottom of the screen. Use the coasters to fix the wobbly table in front of the man in the rocking chair. Talk to him and exhaust all his dialogue to learn that he is Baron von Sülz, who owned the mine near Truberbrook. Ask him for the cable car key, and he will tell you that he's distracted by the disappearance of his cat Klaus.

Finding Klaus:

To find Klaus, go back to the bus stop and locate him on a tree branch. Collect all the necessary items before attempting to rescue him. Go back to the guesthouse and talk to Leni, who will reveal her uncle's stash location after you use the recorder device with her. Grab a cheese skewer and a tuna can before heading up to Hans’ room to pick up a bottle of schnapps and some bedclothes. Collect a cardboard box located to the far right of the screen outside the lookout. Use the bedclothes with the boat, then pick up a reed and use it, along with the cheese skewer and schnapps, to lure Klaus to the boat. Use the tuna can with Klaus and then the cardboard box. Follow Klaus to the town square and try to grab him, causing him to get electrocuted. Bring Klaus to Baron von Sülz to receive the cable car key.

Fixing the power to the cable car:

To fix the power to the cable car, go to the guesthouse and pawn the "massage rod" to get a fishing rod. Pick up a maggot from the roast meat on the buffet table and use the fishing rod with the pier at the bus stop to catch a can opener. Use the can opener on the suit of armor in the town square and use the disassembled armor to dress up Hans. Use the cables at the lookout to fix the power to the cable car system.

Using the cable car:

To use the cable car, go back to the guesthouse and use the wardrobe to pick up two hangers. Open the room window and pick up another hanger from the clothesline. Use the hangers on the cable of the cable car at the lookout. Finally, use the cable car key on the terminal that Gretchen is working on to activate the cable car system.
