In November 2019, rapper Kodak Black faced two charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in Miami, Florida. However, these charges have now been dismissed, as reported by The Blast and confirmed by Kodak Black's attorney, Bradford Cohen.

Rapper Kodak Black is facing another arrest in South Florida due to allegedly missing a drug test, which was a condition of his bail in a drug case. A warrant issued by the Broward Sheriff's Office states that Kodak Black, whose legal name is Bill Kapri, failed to appear for a scheduled drug test on June 9.

Last July, Kapri was arrested on charges of trafficking in oxycodone and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription. He was released on a $75,000 bond, with regular drug testing being a requirement of his release.

The 26-year-old rapper is expected to appear in court on Monday to address the latest development. Earlier this year, Kapri was ordered to undergo 30 days of drug rehabilitation after missing a drug test in February and subsequently testing positive for fentanyl a few days later, according to court records.

During a hearing, Kapri's lawyer suggested the possibility of a mix-up by a star-struck drug lab technician regarding the sample or paperwork. The technician admitted that such a mistake was possible. However, when the judge proposed a hair test to detect drug use over a longer period, the defense declined. Hair tests have the capability to detect drug use for up to 90 days, compared to the few days that urine and blood tests typically capture.
