Pat Conway was an American actor. He was born on January 9, 1932, to Jack Conway and Virginia Bushman Conway in Los Angeles, California. His father is a director. Pat Conway grew up on a farm, 125-acre Pacific Palisades ranch, which belonged to his father. He learned to ride horses before he was 10 years old and learned to herd his father’s cattle.
Pat Conway went to Menlo Junior College in San Francisco and took acting classes at the Pasadena Playhouse after his graduation. In London, he learned acting at the Shakespearean theatre in the famous Old Vic for six months. After serving in the U. S. Marine Corps, he went to Hollywood and got an acting contract with MGM.
In the early 1950s, he played in several movies and TV shows. He is best known for his role in the Tombstone Territory as Sheriff Clay Hollister. He died on 24th April 1981 in Santa Barbara County, California, because of renal failure, due to excessive alcohol usage.
