Officials stated that one of the jet pilots confirmed that the Cessna pilot had lost consciousness during the chase. As a result, the plane ultimately crashed into mountainous terrain near the George Washington National Forest in Virginia around 3:30 pm on Sunday. Despite the immediate response from first responders, the search for survivors was halted on Sunday night after no survivors were discovered at the crash site, as reported by The Daily Beast.
