Ahsoka
Ahsoka, also known as Star Wars: Ahsoka, is a TV series made for Disney+. It's a part of the Star Wars world and comes from the show The Mandalorian. It happens in the same time as The Mandalorian, after the events of Return of the Jedi in 1983. It's also a continuation of the Star Wars Rebels animated series. The show is about Ahsoka Tano, who's trying to stop a new problem in the galaxy now that the Empire is gone.
Rosario Dawson plays Ahsoka Tano, the same character she played in The Mandalorian. Ahsoka was first in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars, voiced by Ashley Eckstein, before appearing in live-action. They announced a show just about Ahsoka in December 2020, with Rosario Dawson and Dave Filoni, who helped create the character, working on it.
They started filming in May 2022 and finished in October. In April 2023, they revealed more actors joining the cast, like Lars Mikkelsen returning as Grand Admiral Thrawn from Rebels. Ahsoka will have eight episodes, with the first two coming out on August 22, 2023, and the last one on October 3."
Ahsoka Episode 5 Spoilers
Ahsoka, and Dave Filoni, the writer and director, are back for Episode 5, called "Shadow Warrior." This episode also plays in theaters, marking Filoni's attempt at the big screen. However, it falls a bit short. While it features impressive digital effects and intense Light Side vs. Dark Side battles, it feels like it's trying to recapture the magic of better stories.
The episode begins where "Fallen Jedi" left off, with Hera searching for answers about Ahsoka and Sabine's fate. She finds Huyang, who's worried because they didn't heed his advice about staying together. But we know Ahsoka isn't gone for good yet.
