Apex Legends

Apex Legends is a popular free-to-play battle royale-hero shooter game developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts. The game was first released on 4 February 2019 for PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One. Later, in March 2021, it was released for Nintendo Switch and in March 2022, it was released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. In May 2022, a mobile version of the game titled "Apex Legends Mobile" was also released for Android and iOS.The game features pre-designed characters called "Legends", each with unique abilities that players can choose from before a match. Players form into two or three-person squads and enter into one of two gameplay modes. In "Battle Royale", up to 20 three-person squads or 30 two-person duos are dropped onto an island where they must search for weapons and supplies while attempting to eliminate all other players. The play area on the island shrinks over time, and players must keep moving to stay inside the safe zone, or they risk being eliminated. The last team standing wins the game. In the other gameplay mode, "Arenas", players form into three-person squads and engage in 3v3 team deathmatch battles against another squad. The team that wins at least 3 rounds and is ahead by 2 points is declared the winner. One of the unique features of Apex Legends is its cross-platform play, allowing players on different platforms to compete against each other, except for the mobile version of the game. This has made the game even more popular among players, as it allows friends on different platforms to play together.

Apex Legends Season 15 Gun Tier List

S Tier List

1. R-301 -The R-301 is an assault rifle that is a great choice for most players. Its recoil handling is one of the easiest in the game, providing great damage at all ranges. The weapon shines from the first ring through to the final ring, and paired with an Anvil Receiver, it provides even more versatility to an already great weapon.

2. C.A.R - The C.A.R. is an SMG that deals excellent damage in short and medium-range encounters. Once you learn the recoil pattern, you can take down enemies in no time. The versatility of being able to switch between heavy and light ammo cannot be understated. If you have the chance, craft this weapon, as it performs the best of the SMGs.

3. Charge Rifle - The Charge Rifle is a great weapon for medium to long-range engagements. Its beam is unlike any other in the game, and you can put down enemies with just a few accurate hits. The Charge Rifle can put huge pressure on enemies trying to push or rotate.

4. Wingman - The Wingman is the best pistol to choose for most encounters. The gun is satisfying to use, and most importantly, it can deal huge damage with the Skullpiercer attachment. It is effective in short and mid-range encounters but falls off a little at longer ranges. With accuracy at close range, the Wingman is very strong.

A Tier List

1. Flatline - The Flatline is a great assault rifle that deals good damage at most ranges. With the Anvil Receiver, you can put a lot of pressure on the enemy team, preventing them from pushing. We recommend you get some good optics on this gun, as the iron sights can be frustrating to use. Even with recent nerfs, the gun remains solidly in A-tier.

2. Volt - The Volt is a good SMG that has little recoil for the damage it does. While it’s not as great as the C.A.R, it holds its own in short-range encounters when you need it. The Volt is best used in short to mid-range as the damage tends to drop off at longer distances.

3. Peacekeeper - The Peacekeeper is a brilliant shotgun that can put out big damage in close-quarters fights. While it is slower than the EVA-8, it still can be used effectively to peek a corner and down an enemy. With accuracy and a bit of luck, this weapon is difficult to go up against.

4. R-99 - The R-99 is a solid choice for SMGs and can put out great damage in close and mid-range fights. The recoil is fairly easy to get used to and is improved with the laser sight attachments. In long-range situations, it does decent damage but would be outperformed by an assault rifle.

5. 30-30 Repeater - The 30-30 Repeater is an amazing marksman rifle that shines in medium to long-range battles. This weapon will punish enemies who aren’t in cover and give your team opportunities to push. Equipped with a Skullpiercer, this weapon deals serious damage.

6. EVA-8 - The EVA-8 shotgun with the Double Tap Trigger hop-up turns a good weapon into a great one. You can take down enemies in no time in close to mid-range encounters. However, the lack of range means the damage falls off at a distance.

7. Mastiff - The Mastiff can deliver massive damage at close ranges. Although it may take some time to get used to its recoil, this weapon can quickly take down enemies once you're familiar with it. There are few guns that can deal as much rapid damage as the Mastiff.

8. Sentinel -  The Sentinel is an excellent sniper rifle when engaging in long-range fights. While its iron sights are okay, you'll need to hit your shots as the reload times can be punishing. The recent changes to shield cells mean that you only need one to supercharge the Sentinel, which makes it more effective.

B Tier List

1. Hemlok -The Hemlok is a burst-fire assault rifle that can be switched to single-fire mode. While it may not be the most powerful assault rifle in the game, the Hemlok is a decent choice for medium-range engagements. However, at close and long ranges, its effectiveness drops off. The single-fire mode can deal reasonable damage at a distance, but there are better options for assault rifles in the game.

2. Triple Take -The Triple Take is a marksman weapon that can shoot in a spread or choke pattern. The spread can be useful at medium-range engagements, but you may struggle to do great damage due to the time it takes to focus your shots. The spread damage is also quite poor compared to other weapons in the game.

3. G7-Scout -The G7-Scout is a great marksman weapon, especially when equipped with the Double Tap Trigger attachment. This attachment allows the weapon to deal great damage at all ranges, and the recoil improvements make it easier to hit targets. However, the G7-Scout was removed from floor loot, making it less accessible in the game.

4. Alternator - The Alternator is a reasonably good SMG, and it's most effective at close ranges. However, the low rate of fire and small magazines make it feel somewhat lacking compared to other SMGs in the game. While there are better choices for SMGs, they can still perform well in the medium-close range.

5. PDW - The PDW is also a good burst weapon, although it performs poorly at long range. At closer range, it really packs a punch. When using it fully automatic, it deals impressive damage, but it becomes difficult to handle due to the recoil.

6. Longbow DMR -The Longbow DMR can be a great weapon at medium-long ranges, but it's poor at close ranges. As a sniper, this weapon deals good damage and offers a higher rate of fire than other snipers. It can be a good choice for picking off enemies out in the open.

7. Spitfire - The Spitfire is an okay choice for most situations. The long magazines do compensate for the lack of range on this gun. You can give good supporting cover for your team, but outside of close quarters, the weapon performs below average and lacks impact.

C Tier List

1. Havoc - The Havoc can be a good gun, but without the Turbocharger attachment, it struggles. The build-up delay can cause you to lose an easily winnable fight. Having the Turbocharger does make this weapon worth picking up, but without it, the Havoc is poor.

2. Devotion - The Devotion is another weapon that requires the Turbocharger attachment to reach its full potential. The delay to begin firing can cause you to lose a fight, but with a Turbocharger, this gun is great and does some of the highest burst damage in the game. However, since the Turbocharger is not guaranteed to be found in the game, the Devotion is generally not a top choice.

3. Mozambique - Mozambique is an okay shotgun, but it deals less than-average damage. Without the Hammerpoint Rounds attachment, this weapon is a poor choice. It can be okay at close range to escape some situations, but there are better options available.

4. L-Star - The L-Star is a weapon that many players avoid. It has poor recoil, low damage, and limited range. The L-Star is outclassed by most other weapons in the game and is generally not a good choice unless you have no other options.

5.  P2020 - The P2020 is a pistol that deals low damage and has poor range. Even with attachments, the gun does not improve significantly. The P2020 is not a popular choice among players and is often overshadowed by other weapons.
