Apex Legends Gameplay
The online multiplayer battle royale game Apex Legends uses three-player squads to play as pre-made "Legends" with unique skills akin to those of hero shooters. Since the game's release, alternative modes have been added to allow for solo and two-player teams. Microtransactions and loot boxes, which let the user use real money and in-game cash to buy cosmetic things like clothes for the Legends and new colors for weapons, are used to monetize the game, which is free to play. Twenty three-player teams play in each match on average.
Apex Legends Development
Titanfall (2014) and Titanfall 2 (2016), both of which were published by Electronic Arts (EA), were created by developer Respawn Entertainment. Electronic Arts (EA) eventually acquired Respawn Entertainment in 2017. Prior to Titanfall 2's release in 2016 and as of 2018, the entire Titanfall team at Respawn Entertainment was working on the project, according to design director Mackey McCandlish. However, executive producer Drew McCoy claimed that development of the game did not start until the spring of 2017. Approximately 115 developers were working on the game, making it the studio's most labour-intensive project, he added. Comparatively, Titanfall 2 had about 85 devs.
