Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy Plot
The events in Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy unfold several years after the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy. Unlike previous collections, this trilogy brings together three titles that were not grouped before. Due to the original games being released over nine years, there are notable differences in graphical styles, development platforms (Apollo Justice for Nintendo DS and the others for Nintendo 3DS), and the main character's role in each game.
In contrast to Phoenix Wright's trilogy, where two sequels were planned together, and Chronicles was initially conceived as one game, Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney didn't have an immediate continuation for several years. Spirit of Justice itself was released three years after Dual Destinies. As a result, there isn't a single overarching plot that spans all three games, except for the general presence and development of Apollo Justice throughout the trilogy.
