Assassins Creed Mirage Observatory

In Assassin's Creed Mirage, there's an Observatory in the Abbasiyah District's north. This place is important because it helps you uncover parts of the map, and you'll need to enter it for a side quest called 'A Life's Work.' But there's a problem – the entrance is blocked.

Open the Locked Observatory Door:

  1. As you get close to the Observatory, you'll hear a scholar named Al-Mahani asking for help. Talk to him.
  2. Al-Mahani is dying and needs your help to get his life's work from the Observatory. His work is split into three parts, and two of them are inside.
  3. The first part is on the lower floors of the Observatory, but the door is blocked from the inside, and there's no clear way in.
  4. To get inside, you'll need to break the beam blocking the door from outside. Here's how to do it:
  5. Walk around the Observatory while using Eagle Vision. You'll spot a window that's a bit high up.
  6. Move a scaffold near the wall and get on top. Then, use your throwing knife to break the blockade through the window gap.
  7. Now, you can return to the main entrance and get inside. There, you'll find some items to loot and the first part of Al-Mahani's work.

Getting to the Top of the Observatory:

  1. The Observatory's walls have sharp fences that make it hard to get to the top directly.
  2. Start by reaching the balcony above the locked door using the wooden beams. Move to the right.
  3. On the balcony, you'll see a bookshelf that you can move. Push it as close to the metal fence as you can, then climb on top of it. This will help you reach the top of the Observatory.
  4. Up there, you'll find the second part of Al-Mahani's work on a desk in front of a big Planetary globe.

Finding the Third Part:

  1. The third part is on the terrace to the left of the locked door, near some scholars. It's out in the open, but when you get close, the wind will blow it away.
  2. Quickly go after the page and you'll see it land on another nearby terrace. Interact with it to get the final piece.
  3. If you can't find it, use Eagle Vision, and it'll be highlighted in bright yellow.

Finishing 'A Life's Work':

  1. After you have all three parts, go back to Al-Mahani. Sadly, he's passed away while you were getting the pages.
  2. Al-Mahani's son will be there, grieving his father's death. Talk to him, and Basim will explain what's happened.
  3. Al-Mahani's son will ask if his father valued his work more than their relationship. Your answer will affect how he reacts, but it doesn't change the quest's outcome much.
  4. This finishes the 'A Life's Work' side quest and gives you one skill point as a reward.

Assassins Creed Mirage Gameplay

"Assassin's Creed Mirage" offers an action-packed and stealthy gaming experience. It's designed to remind players of the older Assassin's Creed games, focusing more on a linear and story-driven approach and reducing complex role-playing elements. Key elements of gameplay include parkour, up-close combat, and sneaky tactics.

When it comes to missions involving assassinations, the game uses a "Black Box" design where players need to explore the environment to find creative ways to eliminate their targets. The game is mainly set in Baghdad, divided into different districts, and includes the famous Round City and the House of Wisdom. Unlike recent games in the series, Baghdad is smaller in size, more like the cities in earlier titles. Players control the main character, Basim, who has a variety of weapons and tools, such as the Hidden Blade, smoke bombs, and poison darts. These can be upgraded through a skill tree.

Basim also has an eagle companion named Enkidu for scouting, but beware, enemy archers can spot and attack Enkidu. A new ability called "Assassin Focus" lets players take out multiple enemies at once, and it recharges when you perform stealthy assassinations. Additionally, there are poles in Baghdad to help you cross wide gaps, and the game's movements and animations have been improved for a smoother experience, drawing inspiration from various warrior styles like samurai and ninja.

Assassins Creed Mirage Plot

The story of "Assassin's Creed Mirage" is set many years before the events of "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" and follows Basim Ibn Ishaq, a young street thief in the city of Anbar. Basim is plagued by visions of a menacing jinni, which his friend Nehal helps him cope with. Wanting to join the Hidden Ones, a secretive group fighting for justice, Basim tries to steal an important artifact from the Caliph's palace but is caught in a dangerous situation.

Nehal ends up saving him, but they are forced to flee as the palace guards start hunting thieves. Basim blames Nehal and leaves her behind. With the help of a Hidden One named Roshan, he escapes to their mountain fortress, Alamut, where he undergoes training and eventually becomes a Hidden One. Sent to Baghdad to investigate the Order's growing influence, Basim discovers that this secretive group is trying to uncover ancient artifacts. He embarks on a mission to stop them, encountering Nehal again and uncovering his true identity as Loki. The plot unfolds with Basim's quest for answers and his reunion with those connected to his past.
