Assassin's Creed Valhalla Gameplay and Trailer
Assassin's Creed Valhalla is an action-packed RPG video game that follows the journey of a Viking raider named Eivor Varinsdottir as they lead their people against the Anglo-Saxon kingdoms. The game offers various main story arcs and optional side missions called "World Events". Players can choose to play as either a male or female Eivor (voiced by Magnus Bruun and Cecilie Stenspil respectively), or allow the game to alternate between the two at key points in the story. Additionally, players can customize Eivor's appearance, including their hair, beard, clothing, armor, and tattoos.
Combat has been improved, allowing players to dual-wield almost any weapon, including shields, and use unique gear collected throughout the game. The Eagle Vision mechanic has returned as "Odin Sight", and players have a companion animal, a raven named Sýnin, who can scout nearby areas. Stealth has become a more integral part of the game, with Eivor able to hide from enemies in the environment or crowds, feign death, distract guards with their raven, and use a hidden blade for quick assassinations. While most enemies can be defeated with a single attack, bosses require specific tactics and weapon selection.
