Better Call Saul Ending Explained

Bob Odenkirk thanked creators Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould at the Critics' Choice Awards. 'You're watching only elbow grease. That's all you're watching, is sweat and elbow grease,' he said. Better Call Saul wrapped up the storyline of our favorite con man/lawyer/fugitive Saul Goodman. "When you see me acting, okay, you're not watching talent. You're watching only elbow grease. That's all you're watching, is sweat and elbow grease. And then standing around me is talent and that makes you look good.''Odenkirk is playing Saul Goodman since 2009, when we first met the lawyer in season two of Breaking Bad, according to reports from Digital Spy. Better Call Saul revealed that Jimmy McGill, a struggling attorney who lived in the shadow of his extremely successful brother Chuck, was Saul's first identity (Michael McKean).

The programme also showed us what happened to Saul/Jimmy following his relationship with Walter White (Bryan Cranston). He moved to Omaha, assumed the alias of Gene, and worked as a baker at a mall in Cinnabon. In this last episode, the worlds of Jimmy, Gene, and Saul intersect. when the episode concluded with Gene's true identity being revealed by feisty Marion (Carol Burnett), who used her medical-alert alarm to notify the police, 'Saul Gone' begins with a flashback of Mike (Jonathan Banks) and Saul out in the desert, stranded (as they were in season five episode 'Bagman') with $7 million in canvas bags. The series finale brings all three of Saul's personae together as Jimmy's, Gene's and Saul's worlds collide. There are a handful of flashback moments in the episode that serves as testimony to Saul/Jimmy's character.

In an unexpected turn of events, Marie, Hank's widow (Betsy Brandt, welcome back!) is present for Saul's plea agreement. As much as it says about Saul, the incident also tells a lot about Walt. One more flashback, for Walter and Saul in the subterranean bunker where they were detained until Ed (the late Robert Forster) gave them new identities and lives in Breaking Bad. Walter looks at his watch when Saul asks him about his regrets, and notices that it is the Tag Heuer Monaco watch that Jesse Pinkman bought him for his birthday. Then we watch him agree to a deal that will result in a seven-year prison term. When the judge addresses him as "Mr. Goodman" and requests that he take a seat, he responds, "I'm James McGill." If the exit sign wasn't a clue, then the episode title sums up this moment – Saul Has Gone.   Ironic that a show called Better Call Saul hardly featured Saul at all.

Will There Be A Season 7 Of Better Call Saul?

Fans of the series predict that the release will take place soon. Yet exact dates are still unknown. However, no official confirmation is done by any cast and crew members. The producers are building tension for the viewers by revealing the dates on social media. More than ever, promotional outlets are now digitized. The dynamic Season 6 cast of Better Call Saul will advance the season 7 plot. A character or two will be added during Season 7, according to reports from Purnea University. The story's connections allow the audience to recall where season 6 left off in August.
