The first series of the BBC crime drama television series Beyond Paradise aired on February 24, 2023. Kris Marshall takes the lead part in this spin-off of the classic crime drama Death in Paradise. Detective Inspector Humphrey Goodman, who left Saint Marie to be with Martha Lloyd, appears in the program.
The couple shifts to Shipton Abbott, near the coast of Devon, Martha's country of origin, after being engaged. After Lucy Elliot's home is broken into, fingerprinting and a boot print point to her ex-girlfriend Hayley Collins, who was in prison cells at the time of the robbery. Atticus Styles, a well-known neighborhood thief who lived only a hundred yards from the crime but had an alibi, carried out the heist in this manner.
