Baldur's Gate III
Baldur's Gate III is a role-playing video game developed and published by Larian Studios. It is the third main installment in the Baldur's Gate series, which is based on the popular Dungeons & Dragons tabletop role-playing system. Initially, a partial version of the game was released in early access format for macOS, Windows, and the Stadia streaming service on October 6, 2020.
The early access phase allowed players to experience the game's development and provide feedback. The full release on PC is scheduled for August 3, 2023, with the PlayStation 5 version following shortly after on September 6, 2023. An Xbox Series X/S port is also in development. Unfortunately, the Stadia version was canceled due to Stadia's closure

Loot Everything You Can: Collect as much loot as possible and sell unwanted items to merchants for gold.

Get the Best Early Gear: Head to the Blighted Village and find the Hasty Helm, Steelforged Sword, and The Speedy Lightfeet boots for powerful early gear.

Learn How to Respec: Release Withers from the Overgrown Ruins and speak to him in your camp to respec your character's stats for a fee of 100 gold.

Learn Crafting and Alchemy: Collect organic ingredients and use the crafting menu (press "H" key) to create useful potions and items.

Be Sure to Recruit Companions: Recruit companions that complement your main character's skills and stats, such as Shadowheart for support or Gale for magic spells.

Learn Animal Tongues: Some classes and races can speak to animals, allowing you to gather valuable information about the wilderness. Use the Potion of Animal Speaking or play as a Forest Gnome.

Acquire the Mask of the Shapeshifter: Owners of the Digital Deluxe Edition can find this item in a traveler's chest at the Emerald Grove campsite. It allows you to change your race and appearance without losing progress.

Unlock Adamantine Forge: Speak to Duergars in Grymforge and use Mithral Ore in the Crucible and Mould Chamber to craft powerful Adamantine weapons and armor at the forge.

Acquire Chest of the Mundane: Find the Chest of the Mundane at the entrance of the Arcane Tower to store a large number of items without them weighing you down.

Don't Forget to Rest: Take a long rest with at least 40 supplies to fully restore your HP and spells, or take a partial rest to restore a portion of your HP.
Bg3 Act 1 Background
Race: You have a variety of races to choose from, each with their own unique abilities and traits. Some options include Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Orcs, and Tieflings. Consider the strengths and weaknesses of each race and choose one that aligns with your preferred playing style.
Class: Next, select a class that suits your preferred playstyle and abilities. Will you be a mighty warrior as a Fighter, a cunning rogue as a Rogue, a wise spellcaster as a Wizard, or a healing presence as a Cleric? There are many classes to choose from, so think about how you want to contribute to the party and engage in combat.
History: Think about your character's backstory and history. What events led them to be on this spacecraft? Were they a skilled mercenary, a scholar, or a simple farmer? Consider how their past experiences have shaped their skills and motivations.
Look: Choose the appearance of your character, including their physical features, hairstyle, and clothing. This is an opportunity to personalize your character's visual representation and make them unique.
Once you have created your character, it's time to dive into the action-packed escape scene as Mind Flayers attack the spacecraft. Be mindful of your decisions during the escape, as they may have consequences for the rest of the adventure.
As you navigate the ship, take the opportunity to interact with other characters and explore your surroundings. Learn about the stories of the other survivors on board and form a party by joining forces with those who complement your preferred playstyle and personal preferences.
After assembling your team, venture into the goblin camp to find Halsin and gather vital information. Interact with the surroundings, NPCs, and items to uncover secrets and tasks. Make choices that will shape the course of your mission and determine your path.
Throughout the adventure, be prepared for challenges and combat encounters. Utilize your character's skills and abilities to overcome obstacles and work together with your party to save Halsin from the goblins' grasp
Baldur's Gate Gameplay
Baldur's Gate III is a role-playing video game that offers both single-player and cooperative multiplayer modes. Players have the option to create one or more characters and assemble a party with computer-generated companions to embark on the game's story. Additionally, players can team up online with others, using one of their characters to form a cooperative party.
In contrast to previous entries in the Baldur's Gate series, Baldur's Gate III features turn-based combat, similar to Larian Studios' earlier games Divinity: Original Sin and Divinity: Original Sin II. However, this time, the combat system is based on the Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition rules, adding depth and strategy to the gameplay

To respec your character's stats, you need to release Withers from the Overgrown Ruins and pay 100 gold. Withers will then offer to respec your character's abilities and attributes.
To learn crafting and alchemy, gather organic ingredients throughout the game world. Once you have gathered enough ingredients, open the crafting menu by pressing the "H" key. From there, you can create useful potions and items.

The Mask of the Shapeshifter is available in the Digital Deluxe Edition of Baldur's Gate 3. If you have the Digital Deluxe Edition, you can find the mask in your inventory. Equipping the mask allows you to change your race and appearance without losing progress.
To unlock the Adamantine Forge, you need to speak to the Duergars in Grymforge. They will provide you with access to the forge, and you can use Mithral Ore to craft powerful gear.
The Chest of the Mundane can be found at the entrance to the Arcane Tower. It serves as a storage chest where you can store excess items without weighing down your inventory.
