Boruto Two Blue Vortex

"Boruto" is a Japanese manga series created by Ukyō Kodachi and Masashi Kishimoto, with illustrations by Mikio Ikemoto. It started in May 2016 as a monthly series called "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" in the Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine, with Kodachi as the writer and Kishimoto as the editorial supervisor. Later, in July 2019, it moved to Shueisha's monthly magazine V Jump.

In November 2020, Kishimoto took over as the writer, and in April 2023, the series concluded its first part, continuing in August of the same year with a second part titled "Boruto: Two Blue Vortex." "Boruto" is a spin-off and sequel to Kishimoto's "Naruto," following the adventures of Naruto Uzumaki's son, Boruto Uzumaki, and his ninja team.

The idea for "Boruto" came from Shueisha's suggestion to Kishimoto for a sequel to "Naruto," which he declined. Instead, Kishimoto proposed his former assistant Mikio Ikemoto as the illustrator, and Ukyō Kodachi, the writer of the film "Boruto: Naruto the Movie," created the plot. The manga has been well-received, with over a million copies shipped by January 2017.

Additionally, an anime adaptation aired from April 2017 to March 2023, with 293 episodes. It received praise for incorporating both new and familiar characters, while the manga was recognized for its more serious tone, focusing on the protagonist.
