Call Of Duty Warzone Wiki
Call of Duty: Warzone is a battle royale video game developed by Raven Software and Infinity Ward, and published by Activision. It was released on March 10, 2020, for PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One as a part of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019).
The game later became connected to 2020's Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and 2021's Call of Duty: Vanguard, although it does not require the purchase of any of those titles. Warzone is a free-to-play game that offers online multiplayer combat for up to 150 players, featuring cross-platform play and progression between the three aforementioned games.
At its launch, Warzone introduced two main game modes: Battle Royale and Plunder. The game also introduced an in-game currency system, allowing players to use cash at "Buy Stations" scattered throughout the map. By using cash, players can acquire their custom loadouts through "Loadout" drops.
Additionally, cash can be used to purchase items like killstreaks and gas masks. Players can find cash by looting buildings or eliminating other players who carry cash. Initially, Warzone only offered Trios, allowing squads of three players, but the game has since received post-launch updates adding Solos, Duos, and Quads as additional game modes.

Call Of Duty Season 4 Gameplay
Call of Duty: Warzone is a highly popular battle royale game that offers intense and fast-paced gameplay. It combines elements of strategy, survival, and intense combat within a massive and ever-shrinking battlefield. Here's an overview of the gameplay in Call of Duty: Warzone:
Players are dropped onto a large map alongside up to 150 other players, either solo or as part of a team. The objective is to be the last player or team standing. As the match progresses, a deadly gas circle encloses the playable area, forcing players into closer proximity and intense firefights.
Players start the match by parachuting onto the map, choosing their landing spot strategically. Once on the ground, they scavenge for weapons, equipment, and resources to increase their chances of survival. These items can be found in buildings, supply crates, or obtained by eliminating other players.
In addition to firearms, players can utilize tactical equipment, such as grenades or flashbangs, and purchase killstreaks or other powerful items from Buy Stations scattered throughout the map using in-game currency. The currency is obtained by looting, completing contracts, or eliminating other players.
Warzone features a unique respawn mechanic called the Gulag. Upon being eliminated for the first time in a match, players are sent to the Gulag, where they have a chance to fight in a one-on-one gunfight against another eliminated player for an opportunity to respawn and rejoin the battle.
The game also incorporates contracts that players can complete for rewards, such as locating and capturing specific objectives or hunting down wanted targets. These contracts add an extra layer of dynamic gameplay and incentivize exploration.
Warzone offers cross-platform play, allowing players from different platforms to compete against each other. It also features a unified progression system, allowing players to level up, unlock weapons, and earn rewards across multiple Call of Duty titles.
With its intense firefights, diverse gameplay mechanics, and evolving map, Call of Duty: Warzone delivers an exhilarating battle royale experience for both casual and competitive players alike.
