Two Star Games developed and published an indie horror video game called Choo-Choo Charles in 2022. The game follows an archivist who hunts monsters and aims to enhance their train's defenses to battle and overcome the game's antagonist, Charles. He is a spider-train hybrid monster that roams the area seeking human prey. Critically, the game received mixed reviews.

In this game, players take on the role of the Archivist, a monster hunter who is called upon to travel to the island of Aranearum to confront a monstrous creature known as Charles. According to the Archivist's friend Eugene, Charles is a terrifying creature that is part train and part giga-spider from hell.

However, upon arrival, Charles attacks and kills Eugene, leaving the Archivist to deal with the situation alone. Before dying, Eugene instructs the Archivist to retrieve Charles' eggs, which are necessary to summon and fight the creature. He also provides them with a train that is equipped with a machine gun

To defeat Charles, the Archivist must traverse the island and interact with various non-player characters who provide them with keys to the mines where Charles' glowing eggs are located, scraps to upgrade the train, and weapons such as a flamethrower, rocket launcher, and anti-tank cannon to fend off Charles. Along the way, the Archivist encounters cultists led by Warren Charles III, who plan on using Charles for world domination. Warren is revealed to have awakened Charles by owning a mining company that dug too deep and discovered Charles' eggs.

Once the Archivist collects all three eggs, Charles is summoned, transforming into "Hell Charles" and killing Warren before attacking the Archivist. After an intense battle, the Archivist successfully lures Charles onto a bridge rigged with explosives and detonates it, killing Charles. However, in a post-credits scene, it is revealed that Charles has multiple eggs hidden in a cavern, hinting at his possible return.
