Dead Island 2 Gameplay
Dead Island 2 is an action role-playing game where you play as one of six characters in the city of Los Angeles, which is overrun by zombies. In Dead Island 2, the story happens about 14 years after the first game, Dead Island. The United States military quarantines Los Angeles due to a new, more powerful zombie outbreak. Six people, known as "Slayers," manage to escape on one of the last evacuation flights, but their plane gets shot down when an infected person gets on board. The Slayers survive the crash, even though they get bitten while trying to help other survivors.
They seek shelter with a woman named Emma, and her ex-boyfriend, Sam B, arrives, revealing they are immune to the infection. They aim to leave the city, but they're asked by a doctor to use their immunity to create a cure. Along the way, they face dangers and realize they have special abilities due to their immunity, which connects them to a new species called "Numen." The story unfolds as they discover the truth about the outbreak and their unique condition, and they decide to stay behind to help survivors in the city.
