Unlocking Item Reincarnation
In Disgaea 7, you can unlock Item Reincarnation in Episode Seven. At the start of this chapter, you can call a Dark Assembly meeting to 'Reincarnate Item!' for a cost of 1,000 Mana. After a successful vote, you'll have access to Item Reincarnation through the Item Worlder.
Using Item Reincarnation
To use Item Reincarnation, you need to keep in mind a specific rule: you can only reincarnate items that have been fully explored in the Item World. For Common items, this means reaching level ten; for Rare items, level 20, and for Legendary items, level 30. You can achieve this by manually delving into an item's Item World or by using the Item World Research Squad.
Choosing Reincarnation Options
Once you have an item eligible for reincarnation (marked with a star), you can proceed through the Item Worlder. Here, you'll be presented with three reincarnation choices. It's important to note that these choices cannot be changed. Reincarnating an item may lead to a change in its type or even an upgrade to the next item 'rank.'
Inheriting Stats and Skills
During reincarnation, you can inherit a portion of the original item's stats. To inherit larger amounts, you'll need to pass specific bills that become available later in the game. Additionally, you can select which skills you want the new item to inherit. This includes a mix of the original item's skills and new ones offered by the item's next form, up to a maximum of eight skills (duplicates are not allowed).

Item Reincarnation is a feature in Disgaea 7 that allows you to enhance weapons and armor by resetting their levels and increasing their base stats.
You can unlock Item Reincarnation in Episode Seven. Once you start this chapter, you can call a Dark Assembly meeting to initiate Item Reincarnation for a cost of 1,000 Mana.
To use Item Reincarnation, you need to fully explore an item's Item World to its deepest levels. Common items need to reach level ten, Rare items level 20, and Legendary items level 30. You can achieve this by manually delving into the item's Item World or by using the Item World Research Squad.
You can only reincarnate items that have been fully explored in the Item World. If you leave an Item World using a Mr. Gency Exit, you won't be able to reincarnate that item and will need to go back in to complete the process.
When reincarnating an item, you'll be provided with three choices, and these cannot be changed. There's a chance the item's type may change, and it might even upgrade to the next item 'rank.'
