Disney Dreamlight Valley is a game where you take care of a magical valley full of Disney and Pixar characters. These characters lost their memories because of a curse, and it's up to you to help them rediscover their past lives in the valley. It was released in stages for different platforms like Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, Windows, and macOS.
Players got to access it early on some devices before its full release. Initially, the plan was for it to be a free game, but things changed as more people played during the early access phase. Because of its success during this period, the game became a premium title instead of being free-to-play. Start the quest by engaging with EVE, who will lead you to the secret garden. Upon arrival, you'll discover that the garden is engulfed in flames. To tackle this, use your watering can to extinguish the fire, a simple yet crucial step to proceed further.
Seeking Help from Mirabel
After addressing the fire in the garden, seek out Mirabel for her assistance in restoring the garden. During your conversation with her, she'll unveil that you need to create a Stone Canvas for EVE, listing the required materials:
Finding Materials and Crafting the Stone Canvas
The quest guides you to specific locations for these materials. The Ancient Gemstones are found in Ancient’s Landing. One can be located in The Overlook area near stairs connecting to The Docks. The second gemstone lies near EVE’s ship in The Docks. For Quartz and Plastic Scrap, you can obtain them by fishing (excluding bubbles in water bodies) and mining rocks in Ancient’s Landing respectively.
Melting Gemstones and Crafting the Stone Canvas
Return to EVE with the gathered materials and request her help in melting the Ancient Gemstones using her laser. However, be prepared to extinguish the fire caused by the laser with your watering can. Once the gemstones are melted, craft the Stone Canvas and deliver it to EVE, concluding the "Lasers & Crafts" quest.

They were super excited to bring this magical world to life and were looking forward to having fans join them during the Early Access phase to help shape the game.
The game's development journey started back in June 2022 when it was announced. It launched in early access on various gaming platforms like Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, Windows, and eventually macOS. The team worked hard to add more content and features, making the game better as time went on. They wanted to make sure it was full of adventures and stories that players would love.
Originally, the plan was for the game to be free-to-play after its early access phase. But things changed along the way. In October 2023, Gameloft decided to switch gears. Instead of being free, the game became a paid title upon its full release in December 2023.
