Dr Stone Plot

In 2019, a mysterious phenomenon turns all of humanity into stone statues. After 3,700 years, 16-year-old prodigy Senku Ishigami awakens to a world devoid of human civilization. Establishing a base, Senku studies the petrified humans to find a cure. With the discovery of nitric acid, he revives his friend Taiju Oki and develops a compound for instant revival. Their goal becomes rebuilding civilization through science.

However, Tsukasa Shishio, revived by Senku, opposes creating a new scientific order and seeks to establish a world based on power. After extorting the revival formula, Tsukasa tries to kill Senku, thinking he knows how to create unbeatable weapons. Surviving, Senku finds a tribe and forms the Kingdom of Science.

Despite initial reluctance, the tribe embraces science for survival. Senku learns that the village, started by his adoptive father Byakuya and other astronauts in space during the petrification, survived. The Kingdom of Science clashes with the Tsukasa Empire, winning and discovering valuable resources on a nearby island, including a device used for the ancient petrification event, guarded by the Petrification Kingdom.
