Excision Musician

Jeff Abel, born on April 29, 1986, goes by the stage name Excision. He's a Canadian music producer and DJ. Excision is not only into making music but also has his own record labels called Rottun Recordings and Subsidia Records.He's been active in the music scene since 2006, and in 2007, he released his first track titled "Warning." Every year, from 2008 to 2016, he used to drop a special mix album called "Shambhala" in the third quarter of the year. In 2017, he took things a step further by starting his very own music festival known as "Lost Lands," where he also releases annual mixes.

One of Excision's standout features is his live shows. When he goes on tour, he's famous for bringing along enormous sound systems and putting on massive visual displays.

Excision also created a record label called Destroid Music. When it kicked off, Destroid released a digital album called "The Invasion." Excision played a major role in producing most of the tracks on the album, and he collaborated with other artists like Datsik, Downlink, Space Laces, Far Too Loud, Bassnectar, and Ajapai.
