Square Enix and Luminous Productions have released the first update for their young action-role-playing game, Forspoken. The 1.02 patch addresses some of the mixed feedback received from players globally. Many players have expressed that the game's introduction needs improvement, but once they get past the first chapter, they are finding the game to be enjoyable and full of potential. In response to this feedback, Luminous Productions has released the 1.02 update to address some of the issues. The complete list of changes can be found in the official patch notes.

What Is Forspoken?
Frey Holland, a New Yorker who never quite fit in, finds herself transported to the strange land of Athia. Here, she discovers her ability to cast spells and use magic with the help of her sentient bracelet, the "cuff." Frey sets out on a journey to return home but is asked by unaffected citizens to help save Athia from the corrupt forces that have turned it into a dangerous land. Square Enix has published Forspoken for PlayStation 5 and PC, with today's patch notes available on its Steam page.
