Garbage
Garbage is a rock band from the United States that started in 1993 in Madison, Wisconsin. The band has four members: Shirley Manson from Scotland is the singer, and the other members are Duke Erikson, Steve Marker, and Butch Vig, all from America. They've been together since the beginning and all work on writing and producing their music. Garbage has sold more than 17 million albums worldwide.
Their first album, called Garbage, came out in 1995 and was a big hit, selling over four million copies. It had popular songs like "Stupid Girl" and "Only Happy When It Rains." Their next album, Version 2.0, came out in 1998 and did really well too, even getting nominated for Grammy Awards.
They also did the theme song for a James Bond movie in 1999. Their third album, "Beautiful Garbage," got good reviews but didn't sell as much as the first two. They took a break during the making of their fourth album but came back together to finish it. It was called "Bleed Like Me" and came out in 2005.
After that, they took a break again, but they got back together in 2011 and released more albums, including "Not Your Kind of People" in 2012 and "Strange Little Birds" in 2016. Their latest album, No Gods No Masters, came out in 2021.
