John B And Sarah Are In The Bahamas

Season one of Outer Banks left fans on the edge of their seats with the stormy fate of John B and Sarah's boat. But in season two, the adventure continues as the duo makes their way to the Bahamas to find the treasure they've been seeking. However, their journey is fraught with danger as John B is still wanted for the murder of Sheriff Peterkin and they face kidnapping, break-ins, and even gun violence. With the help of their friends and a few unlikely allies, they manage to steal the gold but lose it to the police in the end. Despite the setbacks, John B and Sarah escape with their lives, leaving fans eagerly anticipating what's next in store for the Pogues.

The Pogues

In the aftermath of the events in the Bahamas, the Pogues return to the Outer Banks to clear John B's name. With Pope's clever plan to listen in on Gavin's conversations, they gather evidence proving that Rafe committed the murder. However, things take a dark turn when Ward murders Gavin during a meeting with him. The gun used in the crime is lost in a storm drain, and the Pogues' attempts to clear John B's name are dismissed by the police. Kiara takes on the unpleasant task of diving into the sewage pipes to retrieve the gun, offering hope for John B's exoneration.

Pope And The Key

Pope is contacted by Carla, a wealthy and ill woman who can help prove that Rafe killed the Sheriff in exchange for his help in finding a mysterious key. As a descendant of a famous former slave, Pope is tasked with finding the key which can lead to an ancient artifact worth over half a billion dollars. Carla attempts to kidnap Pope, but he escapes and reunites with the gang in Charleston. They head back to the Outer Banks where John B is arrested, and Pope discovers the key in his great-grandmother's house. However, they are intercepted by Renfield, who attacks Pope's father, and the Pogues give Carla and Renfield a fake key, but it doesn't fool them for long.

John B's Freedom

Rafe's fingerprints on the gun Kiara found helped clear John B's name and get him released from custody. However, Rafe tries to kill Sarah, but she is saved by her ex-boyfriend Topper. Meanwhile, Ward fakes his own death to save his son from going to jail. Sarah tells the Pogues that Carla has found the location of the 'island room', where they find a clue leading them to the Cross of Santo Domingo. However, Renfield steals the cross and takes it to Carla, who shoots him when she discovers it doesn't possess magical healing abilities. Rafe escapes with the cross.

What's Happening In Outer Banks Season 3?

We acknowledge the intensity. But there are sure to be some tangled strings in a show this convoluted and complicated. And there are many unanswered questions as season three approaches. Will the cross be returned to the Pogues? Will Rafe finally receive his just desserts? How about the father of John B aiding Carla? Will they ever again be father and son? So many inquiries, such little tolerance for responses.

Fortunately, we won't have to wait long to start working again. We'll be fixated on what happens next on the island of Poguelandia as soon as the newest season premieres on Netflix on February 23.
