Dreamlight Valley
Disney Dreamlight Valley is a life simulation adventure game released in 2023. Developed by Gameloft Montreal and published by Gameloft, the game invites players to care for a magical valley inhabited by Disney and Pixar characters. These characters have lost their memories due to a curse, and players must help them rediscover their lives in the valley.
The game initially launched in early access on various platforms such as Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on September 6, 2022. Disney Dreamlight Valley is set in a magical place called "Dreamlight Valley," where various Disney and Pixar characters live in different environments. The game allows players to control a customizable character living in the valley, similar to Nintendo's Animal Crossing games. The valley operates in real-time based on the player's console or computer time.
Players can explore the valley, gather resources, and use magic to clear away "Night Thorns," unwanted plants with dark magic. Cooking stations, crafting stations, and other facilities allow players to cook meals, craft materials, and create furniture. Eating food replenishes the energy needed to use magical tools like a pickaxe, shovel, fishing rod, and watering can. Unique meals provide various benefits, such as increased energy and enhanced abilities.
Furniture and objects can be placed, rearranged, and buildings moved in the valley. Players can customize outfits and appearance, and a unique feature called "Touch of Magic" lets them design clothes and furniture. Unlike Animal Crossing, tools, clothing, and furniture don't take up inventory space.
Disney Dreamlight Valley Plot
In the game, you play as someone who takes a break from city life and returns to their childhood home. They fall asleep in their old backyard and enter a dream world called Dreamlight Valley. The valley used to be peaceful until the ruler disappeared, and Night Thorns caused villagers to lose their memories in "The Forgetting."
With the help of Merlin, you use your magic, called "Dreamlight," to clear away obstacles and restore the valley. You explore different realms, help characters, and uncover your own past as the former ruler. The cause of the problems is revealed to be a dark being called the Forgotten, who turns out to be your inner child corrupted by negative emotions. Together, you work to close a destructive rift and bring harmony back to Dreamlight Valley.

Gaston can be located in his House, a hunting lodge in the Wastes of the Glittering Dunes biome.
Gaston requests help in cleaning his messy house. The player needs to use the Royal Shovel to dig up five piles of sand and use the Royal Hourglass to restore Gaston's damaged portrait.
The materials needed are 15 x Copper, 10 x Oasis Glass, and 15 x Tropical Wood.
Players can locate the three Freezer Fragments in different areas of the Wild Tangle using the Royal Hourglass.
Players need to cook four meat-based meals of 2 stars or higher for Gaston's quest, with options including Baked Beans, Ajiaco, and Good Ol'Fashioned Burger.
