A "Bracket Name" on ESPN refers to the title or name you give to your bracket entry when participating in their Tournament Challenge. In simpler terms, it's like giving your bracket a nickname or a label that helps you identify it among other entries. This name could be anything you choose, whether it's your favorite team, a creative phrase, or simply your own name.
Think of it as a way to personalize your bracket and make it unique to you. Just like how you might name a file on your computer to easily find it later, giving your bracket a name helps you keep track of it within the ESPN Tournament Challenge.
Steps to Change
Step 1 :
Firstly select the dashboard on TC Banner, where you see all the brackets.
Step 2 :
Click the bracket name and the bracket view will appear.
Step 3:
Click on the gear icon to access the settings of your Bracket.
Step 4:
After selecting the gear option, a drop down will appear with various options.
Step 5:
In the Name your Bracket field, type your name that you want to change.
Step 6:
Finally, Click the save option to save your changes in the settings.
Steps to Create
To Create a Bracket Name on the ESPN Website:
Step 1: Log in to the official ESPN site.
Step 2: Click on the "Create A Bracket" button on the tournament challenge front page.
Step 3: A confirmation message will appear to confirm whether you are creating a group or joining a group. If you want to cancel this, simply click the “X” to cancel.
Step 4: On your entry page, you can confirm your selections for the NCAA Basketball Tournament and create or join a group.
To Create a Bracket Name on the ESPN App:
Step 1: Open the ESPN TC app and log in.
Step 2: After logging in, click Create a Bracket! You will see the confirmation message with the options to Create or Join a Group. Tap the "x" to dismiss.
Step 3: At last, you can create a bracket name in your ESPN App.
Steps to Delete
When you make a bracket for the NCAA Tournament, you can't delete it once it's created.
You can change the name of your bracket and adjust the settings or picks before the tournament begins.
There's no problem if you don't fill out all your brackets or use them in a group.
If you accidentally make a bracket you don't want, just ignore it until the tournament is over.
