Just like the official Portal games, it's a brain-teasing platformer where you use portals to solve puzzles in test chambers. But here's the twist – this mod adds new stuff, like suction vents and a different kind of laser cube. It's like a prequel to the original game, where you play as an unnamed test subject trying to take charge of a device to fix up the testing labs.
Getting it out to players on Steam took a bit longer because of some approval hiccups, but once it hit the scene, players loved it!
How to Complete Portal Revolution Chamber 8?
Completing Chamber 8 in Portal: Revolution might seem like a puzzle marathon, but our intrepid player has the lowdown. In this level, lasers and elevators spice things up, and unlike the earlier Portals, lasers won't zap you. First off, drop the blue portal on the ground wall, take a stroll through it, and hit the button to spawn a glass box.
Move the blue portal to the platform's wall and align the glass box with the laser shooting through, activating the switch. Manage the elevator by sticking your blue portal on the lower wall, cutting off the laser switch. Once on the elevator, reset your blue portal on the laser wall.
Repeat these steps to reach the top. Now, drop a blue portal on the wall across from the laser switch, step through it, and spawn a new glass box. Align it to shoot through the orange portal to the laser switch on the other side. Walk through the orange portal, and bam! The exit door swings open.
