Locating the Secret Area in the Steel Mill:
The Steel Mill level in RoboCop Rogue City is where RoboCop embarks on a mission to find a missing police officer and uncover the sinister activities of the Street Vultures. Their hideout is an abandoned steel mill connected to the railway network. To unveil the secret stash, you'll need to operate one of the trains.
- Finding the Technical Handbook: To start, you must locate and scan the technical handbook for the locomotive. You'll find it in the Northeast corner of the map, opposite the door where the drug stash is kept. This can be done during the 'Unwanted Goods' side quest.
- Getting to the Train Engine: When you've acquired the technical handbook, proceed past the heavy machine gun area. Instead of going right into the drug stash section, head left down the passage. At the end of the passage, you'll notice a side room lit by a Recovery Charge. Next to it, you'll find the technical handbook. Scanning it will teach you how to operate train engines.
- Starting the Train Engine: Now, head south until you reach a specific point on the map (refer to the provided image). Alternatively, follow the railway tracks downward until you spot a yellow train engine. On the back right side of the train, you'll find a panel that allows you to start the engine. This step is only possible because you scanned the handbook; without it, you won't be able to proceed.
- Entering the Secret Area: The train will speed down the tracks and forcefully open the station doors, creating a useful shortcut for later in the level. More importantly, this action unlocks the secret area.
- Finding the PCB: Once the train stops moving, enter the station and explore the area. The PCB is located inside an OCP container. To reach it, head to the left side of the yellow train engine and climb the ladder to the top. Immediately, look to your right to find a section of corrugated steel that has fallen off, forming a bridge. Walk on this makeshift bridge to the operator's overlook, where you'll find the OCP container. Open it to obtain the PCB for the Auto-9.
