Happy Mondays Tours
The Happy Mondays, a famous band from Manchester, are making a big comeback with a new tour in the UK. This tour will have 16 shows and starts in March 2024. It's their only tour in 2024, so if you're a fan, you should get tickets when they're available. What's even more exciting is that they'll have two other famous bands from the 1990s British music scene, Inspiral Carpets and Stereo MC's, supporting them.
This is the first time in five years that the Happy Mondays are doing their own tour. It begins in Glasgow on March 14 and ends in Brighton on April 14. They'll also have a show in their hometown, Manchester, at the O2 Victoria Warehouse. They'll perform in some of the biggest venues in the country, so it's going to be an exciting experience. The tour is called "The Been There Done That Tour," and it will include the classic members of the band, like Shaun Ryder and Bez.

Happy Mondays
Happy Mondays, an English rock band formed in Salford in 1980, had Shaun Ryder as the singer, Paul Ryder on bass, Gary Whelan on drums, Paul Davis playing the keyboard, and Mark Day as the guitarist in their original lineup. Later on, a dancer and percussionist named Mark "Bez" Berry joined them, and Rowetta became a second vocalist in 1990. They started on Tony Wilson's Factory Records label.
Their music mixed 1980s Manchester independent rock with the emerging UK rave scene. They were influenced by funk, house, and psychedelia, helping create the Madchester sound. The band became really popular with albums like "Bummed" in 1988, "Madchester Rave On" in 1989, and "Pills 'n' Thrills and Bellyaches" in 1990, which even went platinum in the UK. They took a break in 1993 but got back together a few times in the years that followed.
