How to Get to the Third Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom?
To reach the third shrine in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you must utilize the Ascend power. Although the most apparent location to reach the shrine is underneath it, near the exit of Bottomless Cave, Ascend does not have sufficient range to reach that particular ledge. Instead, you need to locate a lower overhang that allows you to pass through and reach the third shrine.
To reach the third shrine in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, follow these directions:
Upon exiting Bottomless Cave, look upwards to locate the ledge where the third shrine is situated.
Unfortunately, Ascend doesn't possess enough range to reach that particular ledge, regardless of your movements. As a result, head east and then proceed by circling in a northward direction.
Along the way, you will come across an area where you can descend to a frozen river. Take the opportunity to drop down to the frozen river.
From there, follow the shoreline of the river in a northern direction until you reach a bridge.
Cross the bridge and continue following the river northwards until you reach its edge, near a waterfall.
At this point, you will notice that you are positioned beneath a similar ledge to the one where the third shrine is located, although it is shorter in height.
Utilize Ascend by rising through the bottom of this shorter ledge, elevating yourself to the level of the ledge.
By following these steps, you will successfully make your way to the third shrine in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Alternatively, from your current position, you have the option to proceed southward through the hollow tree, which will lead you directly to the third shrine in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
However, it's important to note that this is not the sole pathway to reach the shrine. Despite the apparent difficulty of climbing due to the icy walls, there are certain locations along the plateau where Link can successfully ascend. Be vigilant and watch for bare rock formations and tree roots if you choose to explore this particular route.
