  • 2 cups (300g) all-purpose flour

Salted Honey Butter:

  • 1/4 cup wildflower honey
  • 2 Tbsp salted butter 

Garlic Butter:

  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp finely chopped parsley

Spicy Honey Mustard: 

  • 1/2 cup whole grain spicy mustard
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cayenne

Marinade:

  • 1.5 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tbsp fine sea salt
  • 1 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tsp white pepper
  • 2 tsp cayenne
  • 1 whole chicken cut into 8 pieces (wings, thighs, drumsticks, breasts) OR
  • 2lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs

Dredge: 

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp kosher salt
  • 1 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp ginger powder
  • 1 Tbsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tsp cayenne
  • 2 tsp white pepper

Procedure to Make Perfect Chicken and Waffles

This recipe is for those who are hesitating to prepare breakfast and lunch for the next day, this recipe will be satisfied brunch for you! In the follwing sections, you can find out the ingredients and the procedure involved in making the recipe.

Chicken Method:

  1. The chicken should first be well-dried before being cut into 8 pieces, including the legs, wings, breasts, and drumsticks.
  2. Combine all the ingredients for the marinade, then stir in the chicken. For one to twenty-four hours, cover and marinate.
  3. All-purpose flour, cayenne pepper, ginger powder, smoked paprika, white pepper, garlic powder, and kosher salt should be combined in a medium basin for the dredging.
  4. At 350F, heat the oil in a heavy-bottomed pot.
  5. As the oil is heating, sprinkle some flour on a baking sheet, drizzle some buttermilk marinade over the flour, and then toss the chicken in the mixture.
  6. Chicken should be well coated in flour before being tossed into the flour and placed onto a dusted baking sheet.
  7. Lay the chicken carefully, 3 to 4 pieces at a time, into the 350°F frying oil and cook for 12–15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  8. Chicken should be removed from the oil and allowed to cool on a wire rack positioned inside a lined baking sheet.

Waffle Method:

  1. Pour 95°F whole milk into a medium bowl, mix in instant yeast, and set aside.
  2. Add the eggs and egg yolk to a large bowl and whisk to mix.
  3. Gently whisk in melted unsalted butter after completely incorporating the yeast mixture.
  4. Add kosher salt, sugar, and all-purpose flour to a sizable basin. Blend well.
  5. Blend the wet and dry components together until well combined.
  6. Wrap, then allow rising for up to a day.
  7. The waffle maker should be heated according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
  8. Put 3/4 cup or 1 cup of batter into the waffle maker's middle, close it gently with a light squeeze, and cook for the advised amount of time.
  9. Repeat with the remaining batter after removing the finished waffle.

Honey Butter Method:

  1. Honey should be heated in a small pan over medium heat until it becomes somewhat runny. After turning off the heat, whisk in the cold salted butter and keep whisking until emulsified.

Presentation:

  1. Waffles should be put on a plate.
