How to See How Long a Facetime Was? 

There are two methods to view the duration of a FaceTime audio or video call after ending it. You can access this information through the Phone app or the FaceTime app.

Using the Phone app:

• Open the Phone app on your iPhone or iPad.
• Navigate to the Recents tab.
• Tap the information (i) icon located next to the contact or phone number you wish to check.
• The duration of the call will be displayed. This method also works for cellular voice calls.

Using the FaceTime app:

• Open the FaceTime app on your iPhone or iPad.
• Review your FaceTime call log and tap the information (i) icon next to the desired contact or phone number.
• The call duration will be visible.

Note: Apple reportedly removed the call duration feature from the FaceTime app starting with iOS 14. However, some FaceTime calls on devices running iOS 16 still display call durations. If you cannot find the call durations in the FaceTime app, ensure that your iOS device is up to date and check again. If the issue persists, utilize the Phone app, which provides the duration for all incoming and outgoing calls.

On Mac computers, the FaceTime app does not show the duration of recent FaceTime calls. When you click on the information (i) icon next to a contact or phone number, macOS presents a contact card instead of displaying call details.

How many Times Does Facetime Ring?

The duration of FaceTime rings when making a call can vary based on the recipient's response. Normally, FaceTime rings 11 times before indicating that the person being called is unavailable. However, if the person is already unavailable or declines the call, FaceTime may ring for a shorter duration. Eleven rings provide a substantial amount of time for your contacts to answer the call. Nonetheless, it's important to consider a few points regarding missed FaceTime calls.
