After a guy named Raul Menendez caused problems with drones in 2025, many countries created systems to defend against those drones, making regular air forces not very useful.
Now, most of the fighting between countries is done by secret agents behind enemy lines. The military has become really advanced with robots being used a lot in battles. There are robots that look like people, and some soldiers are part-human and part-machine, called cyborgs. This has made some people worried that robots might take over.
The game's story follows a team of secret soldiers who work for the Winslow Accord. You play as one of them, and your team includes characters like Jacob Hendricks, Commander John Taylor, Sebastian Diaz, Sarah Hall, and Peter Maretti.
