COD Black Ops 3

Call of Duty: Black Ops III" is a shooting video game from 2015. It was made by Treyarch and sold by Activision. This game is the twelfth one in the Call of Duty series and continues the story from "Call of Duty: Black Ops II" that came out in 2012. You can play it on PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One, starting on November 6, 2015. There's also a version with fewer features for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 that only has multiplayer modes. This was the last Call of Duty game released for those older consoles.

The game's story is set in the year 2065, 40 years after the events in "Black Ops II." The world is dealing with big changes like climate problems and new technology. You play as a team of black ops soldiers. The game can be played by up to four people in the campaign, making it bigger and less linear. Your character has cybernetic enhancements, which means you have special abilities. There's also a Zombies mode and a "Nightmares" mode where all the enemies are zombies.

The game was announced in April 2015 and is the first Call of Duty released after they stopped working with Microsoft Studios and started working with Sony Computer Entertainment. This made Sony the exclusive partner for downloadable content. The game got good reviews for its gameplay, Zombies mode, and amount of content. But some people didn't like the story and thought it wasn't very different from previous games. The versions for older consoles were criticized for missing a campaign and features, and they needed to be played online. Even with these criticisms, the game sold really well and was the top-selling game in the US in 2015, especially for the newer consoles.

COD Black Ops 3 Gameplay

Call of Duty: Black Ops III," a 2015 first-person shooter game by Treyarch and Activision, offers an exciting range of gameplay modes. In the campaign, you can team up with three other players for cooperative play, featuring larger, more open levels, reducing the confined corridor shooting experience. You also get to customize your character's appearance and gear as you progress through the campaign. Moreover, a challenging "realistic" difficulty mode adds intensity, where a single bullet can defeat you.

Completing the campaign unlocks "Nightmares" mode, where you replay the story with zombies replacing regular enemies. In multiplayer, a new movement system with thruster packs enables players to perform dynamic moves like wall running and sliding, enhancing gun control. The introduction of "Specialists" allows you to choose from 9 different soldiers, each with unique abilities. A "Gunsmith" feature enables customization of weapon attachments, and the Paintshop lets you create custom gun designs. In the Zombies mode, players explore different locations and time periods, progressing with an XP system similar to multiplayer and campaign.

Unlockable items include "Gobblegums" for temporary bonuses and weapon kits for customizing guns. The DLC maps in Zombies mode offer engaging stories that tie into the main game's narrative. A later addition, "Zombies Chronicles," remasters classic maps with updated graphics, adding new elements like Gobblegums and weapons to the mix. This makes "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" a multifaceted game with various gameplay options to enjoy with friends or on your own.

COD Black Ops 3 Plot

Call of Duty: Black Ops III" happens in the year 2065, which is 40 years after the events in "Black Ops II." The world is in a lot of trouble because there are big fights, the climate is changing, and there are new technologies causing chaos. There's a "Third Cold War" going on between two big groups, the Winslow Accord and the Common Defense Pact. After a guy named Raul Menendez caused problems with drones in 2025, many countries created systems to defend against those drones, making regular air forces not very useful.

Now, most of the fighting between countries is done by secret agents behind enemy lines. The military has become really advanced with robots being used a lot in battles. There are robots that look like people, and some soldiers are part-human and part-machine, called cyborgs. This has made some people worried that robots might take over.

The game's story follows a team of secret soldiers who work for the Winslow Accord. You play as one of them, and your team includes characters like Jacob Hendricks, Commander John Taylor, Sebastian Diaz, Sarah Hall, and Peter Maretti. The story also has characters like CIA agent Rachel Kane, Coalescence Corporation CEO Sebastian Krueger, therapist Dr. Yousef Salim, and the leader of the 54 Immortals criminal organization, Goh Xiulan. There's even a cameo appearance by NFL running back Marshawn Lynch as a 54 Immortals mercenary.
