Meet Sebastian by the Overlook
To begin the quest, players should head to the viewpoint just northeast of Upper Hogsfield and speak with Sebastian. He will explain that the depicted region on the triptych is where they need to go, and that there is an abandoned mine down the path that Ranrok's Loyalists use as a gathering point. Players have the option to either engage in combat with these enemies or use the Disillusionment spell to sneak past them undetected.
Repair the broken bridge
To proceed, slide through the second slope, which is located to the left of the entrance. Ascend the ledge to your left at the bottom to see a damaged wooden bridge. Cast Reparo to repair it before crossing. On the other side, Venomous Scurriors will attack. Defeat them and continue through the passageway. As you move forward, you will need to crouch down to pass through some crawlways. Eventually, you will descend into a large battle arena.
Unlock the chamber door
At this location, you will come across a significant group of foes, such as Loyalist Warriors and Venomous Scurriors, along with two Matriarchs. Once you have cleared the area of enemies, use Confringo or Incendio to burn the spiderwebs and reveal three rune symbols. These symbols are located near the closed rune door, to its left, and further to the right. Hit all three symbols with Basic spells promptly to open the chamber door.
Inside the Chamber
After the rune door opens, proceed downstairs to inspect the chamber where you'll discover a chest containing the second canvas triptych piece. Also, check the table in the center of the room to find Isisdora's Journal Entry 3/7. Once you have the piece, converse with Sebastian, and then use the crystallized wall in the chamber to go back to Hogwarts Undercroft.
Returning to Hogwarts Undercroft
After obtaining the second canvas triptych piece, head back to Hogwarts Undercroft and insert it into the triptych on the wall. Speak with Sebastian to complete the quest successfully.
