Is Eustass Kid Dead in One Piece?

As of the last known events in the One Piece story, it's uncertain whether Eustass Kid, the captain of the Kid Pirates, and his crew are alive or not. In the storyline, after the intense battle at Wano where Kid and his crew emerged victorious, they sailed to Elbaf and encountered the formidable Red Hair Pirates led by Shanks.

Kid and his crew prepared for a battle, but Shanks, using his advanced abilities, foresaw the devastation Kid's attack would cause to innocent bystanders. To prevent this, Shanks and his crew swiftly defeated the Kid Pirates, destroying their ship and leaving their fate unknown.

In simple terms, the story hasn't provided clarity on whether Eustass Kid and his crew survived their encounter with Shanks and the Red Hair Pirates.

What Happened to Eustass Kid in One Piece?

In One Piece, Eustass Kid, the captain of the Kid Pirates, went to Elbaf looking for someone with knowledge about the "Road Poneglyphs," which are essential in finding the great treasure known as One Piece.

He hoped to find this person on Elbaf, an island inhabited by giants. However, when he and his crew arrived, they encountered the powerful Red Hair Pirates led by Shanks.

Shanks and his crew were already on the island, and they aimed to prevent a conflict between Kid and the giants. Shanks ordered his crew to step back, and using his extraordinary abilities, he swiftly defeated Kid and most of his crew.

The remaining crew members gave Shanks the Road Poneglyphs they had, believing they had avoided a disaster. Unfortunately, giants from Elbaf attacked and destroyed Kid's ship, leaving the crew in a dire situation.

As a result of this defeat, the Kid Pirates lost their chance to compete for the treasure and were stranded at sea without a ship. The crew members who cannot swim due to being Devil Fruit users were at risk from the sea's dangers.

If they survive, they may reappear in the future, possibly participating in the final war against the World Government, depending on their ability to endure and recover from this defeat. However, their fate remains uncertain as of now.
