Jujutsu Kaisen is an anime series based on the manga of the same name written by Gege Akutami. The anime adaptation was officially announced in the 52nd issue of Weekly Shōnen Jump on November 25, 2019. The series covers two continuous cours and adapts the "Hidden Inventory/Premature Death" and "Shibuya Incident" story arcs from the manga.
The first story arc revolves around the young sorcerer Satoru Gojo and his friend Suguru Geto, along with other students from the Jujutsu Academy, as they work together to combat Curses.
