General Tips for Legendary Tales: Stolen Life: The guide will not mention each time you have to zoom into a location; the screenshots will show each zoom scene. Hidden-object puzzles are referred to as HOPs. This guide will not show HOP solutions. It will identify the location of the HOP and the inventory item acquired.
The guide will show solutions for non-random puzzles. Please read the in-game instructions for each puzzle. In this game, you will sometimes have to select the new scene to trigger dialog, cut-scenes, or tasks prior to interacting with the scene.
Chapter 1: The Yard of the Tavern
- Take the STONE and BUCKET. Place the BUCKET and collect BUCKET OF WATER.
- Use the STONE to open the gate and enter the tavern.
- Inside, use the BUCKET OF WATER to douse the fire and proceed to the left.
- Find the WIRE and collect HOOK from it.
- Move the bowl and take 1/2 WOLF FIGURINE and OILER.
- Use the HOOK to get the KEY from the stein and collect 2/2 WOLF FIGURINE.
- Place both WOLF FIGURINES and solve the puzzle to open the door.
- Take the OIL LAMP and use the OILER on it to get the LIT OIL LAMP.
- Exit the tavern and head left to find a ladder and 1/2 HORSE EQUIPMENT.
- Use the LADDER and LIT OIL LAMP to explore the hidden area and play the hidden object puzzle.
- Use the HORSE EQUIPMENT to interact with the horse and trigger a cutscene.
- Take the OVEN FORK and POKER and head left to find 1/2 ANVIL FIGURINE and 1/3 STONE OF DREAMS.
- Use the ANVIL FIGURINE to open the locked compartment and collect PLIERS and HAMMER HEAD.
- Combine HAMMER HANDLE with HAMMER HEAD to get a HAMMER.
- Go to the water wheel area, use the HAMMER to fix it, and play the hidden object puzzle.
- Collect the WATER BOTTLE and use it to water the flowers, revealing a new area.
- Use the KNIFE to cut the vines and proceed to the new location.
- Take the SCYTHE and move the foliage to find the 2/3 TRIDENTS and a BOARD.
- Use the SCYTHE to clear the path and access the waterfall area.
- Take the SPLINTER and use it to open the bag, revealing a KEY and HANDLE.

- Use the SPEAR to collect items and trigger a cutscene.
- Take the MEDICINAL OINTMENT and find the HINT in the waterfall area.
- Use the HINT to reveal the correct path and complete the chapter.
Chapter 2: Pirate Ship
- Use the 3/3 TRIDENTS to open the door and enter the ship.
- Collect the BAILER and RESIN and combine them to get 1/3 SIGN.
- Use the FLASK WITH ALCOHOL to create a torch and proceed to the next location.
- Take the FLOWER and use it with the SNAIL to create the OINTMENT.
- Combine the OINTMENT INGREDIENTS to get the MEDICINAL OINTMENT.
- Use the MEDICINAL OINTMENT to heal the injured man and proceed to the next area.
- Solve the puzzle to unlock the door and find the KEY OF THE ARCHWITCH.
- Use the KEY OF THE ARCHWITCH to unlock the door and enter the hut.
