Lords of the Fallen Pumpkin Helmet

In the game Lords of the Fallen, there's a special event for Halloween where you can get a Pumpkin Helmet. To complete this event, you need to find six mysterious pumpkins in a place called Mournstead. Before you start looking for these pumpkins, make sure you've already defeated The Hushed Saint boss, or the pumpkins won't appear.

To find and collect these pumpkins, you'll need to go to a location called Umbral. Once you're there, you must use a special ability called "soulflay" on each pumpkin to unlock hidden memories. For each pumpkin you successfully collect and soulflay, you'll receive 2 Umbral Scourings as a reward.

After you've collected all six pumpkins, a powerful enemy called the Spirit of the Bleak Season, which is similar to a Crimson Reaper, will appear. This enemy is tough to defeat. To take it down, equip a strong weapon and be agile to dodge its attacks. Look for openings to attack it, and keep hitting it until it's defeated. While you can use magic or ranged weapons, it's a slower process since the boss moves around a lot.

Once you defeat the Spirit of the Bleak Season, you'll be rewarded with the Pumpkin Helmet, which is a medium head armor piece with decent defensive stats. Additionally, you'll receive eight Umbral Scourings from this boss fight, in addition to the ones you got from collecting and soulflaying the pumpkins.

How to Get Pumpkin Mask in Lords of the Fallen?

To get the Pumpkin Mask in Lords of the Fallen, you need to find six pumpkins in different locations in the game. Here's how you can find them:

  • Skyrest Bridge: Go behind and below the main hub, under the Tortured Prisoner's cell. Enter Umbral, go down the stairs, and you'll find a gate on your left. Go through the gate to discover the first pumpkin.
  • Abandoned Redcopse, Vestige of Hannalore: In the village, find a large area where you'd usually go right. Instead, head to the left and look behind some crates to find the second pumpkin.
  • Forsaken Fen, Vestige of Valade: Right next to the Vestige, go through the door and take the ladder on your immediate left. Continue straight until you reach a large bonfire with the third pumpkin.
  • Fief of the Chill Curse, Vestige of Loash: Head down the river behind the beacon, take an immediate left, and keep moving forward. Open an area by using the "soulflay" ability on an Umbral parasite to find the fourth pumpkin on the right.
  • Pilgrim’s Perch, Vestige of Ferrers the Charred: Keep moving towards the lift on the right, take it to move down, and then take the ladder on the left to go back to Pilgrim’s Perch. You'll find the pumpkin sitting in a corner on one of the wooden planks on the left.
  • The Hushed Saint boss arena: Put on the armor set of The Hushed Saint and return to its arena. There, you'll find the last pumpkin. Use "soulflay" on it to start the boss fight with the Spirit of the Bleak Season.

Collecting all six pumpkins and defeating the Spirit of the Bleak Season will reward you with the Pumpkin Mask, which is a medium head armor with decent defensive stats.

Lords of the Fallen Gameplay

In this game, you play from a third-person view. You can use both melee weapons (like swords) and magic to fight your enemies. The way you fight in this game is similar to other games like Dark Souls, which means it's challenging. You can go through the game's story alone or with a friend. You can also compete against other players in a multiplayer mode. At the beginning of the game, you get to create your own character and pick from one of nine character types. The game world is pretty big, even bigger than the 2014 version.

The unique thing here is that there are two worlds on top of each other. One is called Axiom, where living things are, and the other is Umbral, where the dead are. You can switch between these two worlds using a special lantern. Sometimes, places that you can't reach in one world can be reached in the other.

If your character dies, they go to the Umbral world and you need to return to the Axiom world to get back the experience points you lost when you died. But if you die in Umbral, you go back to your last save point and lose the experience points you hadn't used yet. Save points are a bit rare in each area, but you can make your own save points by gathering materials from monsters in the Umbral world.

Lords of the Fallen Plot

The game is set in a world that was once ruled by a harsh god named Adyr, who was defeated by three heroes - a rogue, a cleric, and a warrior. These heroes, known as the Judges, were later elevated to demigod status. In this world, even minor wrongdoings are punished. Players take on the role of Harkyn, a convicted criminal bearing visible runes on his face, representing his sins.

Harkyn is freed from prison by a monk named Kaslo to stop an invasion of Adyr's demonic forces, the Rhogar, near the Hand of God mountains. He encounters powerful beings known as Rhogar Lords, invading from an unknown realm. With the help of an explorer named Yetka, he finds the Pathway - a portal to the Rhogar Realm, once a temple of Adyr, now banished and sealed by the Judges.

In the Rhogar Realm, Harkyn reclaims the stolen Crystal of Travels from the Crafter, an immortal being. He successfully halts the invasion. Returning to the monastery, he's tasked by Antanas to slay the revived Adyr. However, Harkyn senses something amiss and confronts a mysterious monster. He unlocks the Chamber of Lies and encounters a peculiar demon tied to Yetka's family. Harkyn must decide whether to kill it or let Yetka go with it. Finally, he defeats the last Lord and converses with Adyr, who believes humanity requires a god for order. Harkyn receives a special rune to restore Adyr's power.

Back at the monastery, Harkyn faces monsters, evidence of Antanas' dark experiments on monks. Antanas' forces label Harkyn a traitor for sparing Adyr. Harkyn confronts Antanas and learns that the transformed Antanas killed Kaslo. Harkyn defeats and kills Antanas, then chooses to use the Rune of Adyr to either revive Adyr, kill Adyr, or give it to the Crafter, leading to a neutral ending with Adyr dormant.
