Blue Archive is a free-to-play role-playing game developed by Nexon Games, with gacha game mechanics allowing players to obtain new characters. The game was first released in 2021 for Android and iOS in Japan by Yostar, and later worldwide by Nexon. A television anime adaptation, titled Blue Archive The Animation, has also been announced. The player takes on the role of a teacher summoned to the academy city of Kivotos by the president of the General Student Council. After the president goes missing, criminal activity increases in Kivotos and the player is tasked by the remaining council members to solve the problems and help search for the missing president.

Blue Archive Gameplay
Blue Archive is a tactical role-playing game that allows players to form and mobilize units of up to six members for military campaigns. The game features a gacha system where players can recruit more students using in-game currency, which can be purchased through in-app purchases. Players can enhance students' strengths by increasing their levels, weapons, armor, and skills. The units are mobilized on a turn-based hex map, and battles initiate when they encounter an enemy. Combat involves Strikers marching along a straight path and occasionally encountering groups of enemies.
