MW2 And Warzone 2 Season 2 New Weapons
The next update will bring five new weapons to the game, adding much-needed diversity. Four of these weapons will be immediately available upon the release of the patch, while the fifth one is planned for a mid-season update. These weapons belong to a range of categories, offering players more options and strategies to choose from.
ISO Hemlock assault rifle
The ISO Hemlock is an advanced and potent rifle that can handle both 5.56 and subsonic 300 BLK ammunition, providing players with a tactical edge in any situation. This weapon will be accessible to players without any cost and can be obtained through the Season 2 Battle Pass.
KV Broadside shotgun
The Kastov platform is expanding with the addition of the KV Broadside shotgun, the fastest semi-automatic shotgun in its class. With its 12-gauge firepower, this weapon has the potential to quickly eliminate enemies. Similar to the ISO Hemlock, this firearm will be accessible at no cost and can be acquired through the Battle Pass in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.
Dual Kodachis Melee Weapon
A new, formidable melee weapon has been added to the game, designed for taking on close-range enemies. The weapon's strikes have a longer reach and employ a faster forward motion when attacking compared to the Knife. However, this advantage is balanced by a slower strafing and sprint speed.
Crossbow
The Crossbow is making its return in Season 2 of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2. Its standard 20.0" bolts are retrievable and go unnoticed by trophy systems.

Tempus Torrent Marksman Rifle
The Tempus Torrent Marksman Rifle is a new addition that will arrive with the mid-season update, although details about the weapon have not been disclosed yet. Season 2 New Updates
Season 2 will kick off with the Path of the Ronin event, which follows the format of previous seasonal events for Call of Duty. The event consists of seven challenges that must be completed in either Warzone 2 or Modern Warfare 2. These challenges are inspired by the Seven Virtues of Bushido: Integrity, Respect, Courage, Honor, Compassion, Sincerity, and Loyalty. Upon completion of each challenge, players will receive a reward, and by successfully finishing all seven challenges, they will unlock the Crossbow weapon in Season 2.
Season 2 will bring two classic multiplayer maps and two additional large-scale battle maps to the game.
