My Time at Sandrock Walkthrough

Access the Scrapyard and Mine for Scrap and Ore

To get scrap and ore in My Time at Sandrock, you can visit the Scrapyard and Mine. Initially, you may find scrap while exploring, but after completing a quest for Rocky and building a crane, you can enter the Scrapyard. There, you can break down piles of junk for random scrap. Take the lift to the mines for more raw materials. Note that entering the Scrapyard requires a weekly pass of 200 gols after the first free week.

Inventory should be Used Efficiently

To manage your inventory efficiently, expand your bag's inventory size by paying 150 gols per slot in the Inventory menu. You can also use the Worktable to create storage like Mini Storage Boxes and Wooden Storage Chests. These can be named and used to organize items. The Auto-fill option can help transfer items between your backpack and storage.

Quest Items Highlighted by Machines

When you have pending quests, interacting with machines will show quest items and quantities needed. This is useful for tracking quest progress.

Making Gol at Commercial Guild

For making money, visit the Commerce Guild where you can accept quests on the board for a good amount of cash. Choose quests you can complete within the given time range for a good payout.

Fish with Traps

Fishing involves crafting a Basic Sandfish Trap and finding Sandworms. You can set traps at fishing signs and attract fish with worms. Upgrade your trap to catch larger fish.

My Time at Sandrock Guide

The guide opens with a section on the basics of gameplay, including beginner's guide which will help you run the game more efficiently and manage your time and resources. We also describe such mechanics as conducting research at the Research Center, navigating Abandoned Ruins and explain how to deepen relationships with city residents.

In the walkthrough section, you will find walkthroughs for the story missions and side quests available in My Time at Sandrock. We have enriched the descriptions with detailed instructions on how to build the machines necessary to complete certain commisions and what rewards await you for completing missions.

The desert in Sandrock is special, just like real deserts. To help the few plants survive, the townsfolk need to protect the trees. If you chop down trees or cacti, people in town will get upset, and some might even stop doing business with you.

Stick to using a bronze pickhammer on wood scrap piles for wood and smaller plants like bulb cacti and sandgrass for dew. You can kick the bigger trees to get feathers, bark, and other goodies. Keep the desert green and everyone happy!
