NECO Examination 

The National Examination Council (NECO) is a Nigerian examination body that conducts the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) and the General Certificate in Education (GCE) Ordinary Level and Advanced Level in June/July and November/December respectively.

NECO was established by the National Examination Council Decree No. 33 of 1999, which was signed into law by the then Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar.
