At the start of the episode "How Can I Help," viewers were initially exposed to a new medical director who was youthful and passionate but not well-known. (Episode 13 of Season 5) The young woman, portrayed by actress Molly Griggs, is seen intermittently throughout the hour, but her name is never revealed. That is, until the episode's conclusion when it is revealed that she is Max's adult daughter, Luna Goodwin.
